Battlecry Festival

This festival brought people’s attention to the Re-enactment Mercenaries, a historical re-enactment society based in the Midlands that specialise in recreating battle scenes from Ancient Britain from the Celts and Romans to the Vikings and Anglo-Saxons

The promotion was to make people more aware of the society as well as our rich history and get more members to sign up.

The theme of war paint came to mind with its ability to transform the wearer into something more fierce and primal, much like the society members who wear the costumes to become an alternative version of themselves.

Splashed across tote bags, event banners, tickets, brochures, online presence, the brand worked in a versatile fashion with the simple black and the war paint paint strokes creating a dramatic look and feel to the overall experience.
